I am so excited that this week a few of my favorite Project Life kits are on sale. Check them out below!
But first, because I love Project Life so much I made tags using the new All Year Long card set and now is the perfect time to show you a sneak peek of what the card tags look like! Here is one of the four tags I made using the Project life cards.
The tags use a 4×6 card folded in half, topped with a 3×4 card, and a decorative 3×4 card cut out to just show the words. They are all layered on a 2″ tag topper in Mint Macaron punched to 4 1/4″ long. I will be showing details on how to create them later next week so check back to the directions!

Hello, hello. This is craft unrelated to, but I just had to share one of the amazing tops I got in my latest Stitch Fix. I am wearing it today, and posted a quick photo on Instagram showing it off and received a few messages for more info, so I’m giving you a quick peek!
So it’s an awesome boho sort of print, with crochet down the front, a tie, and a semi sheet shell, with an included ivory tank top underneath. Who doesn’t love that it comes with the tank cami.
I paired it with my favorite Banana Republic jean leggings and called it a day. You can find the necklace at Kohls- it’s a rose gold tree from LC Lauren Conrad.
Do you love it? Make sure you leave a comment for your stylist that you love Daniel Rainn and that you want this top! They stylist are really good about listening to feedback and picking outfits you will adore.
Want to know more?

Begin by filling out the Style Profile. This helps Stitch Fix understand your size, style, shape, budget and lifestyle. Completing your profile should only take about 10 minutes.

They’ll send you a selection of five clothing items and accessories handpicked by personal stylists on the date you choose. At the time your stylist selects your items, you will be charged a $20 styling fee. That $20 will be applied as a credit toward anything you keep from your shipment.
3. Try everything on in the comfort of your home
We encourage you to try on everything our personal stylists have picked for you because you just never know what will look great on! Create new outfits by pairing what’s in your shipment with the items that are already in your closet.
4. Buy what you like and return the rest
5. Tell us what you think!
Don’t forget to give us specific feedback on each of the items you receive. Personal stylists are able to send you better selections when we know what did and didn’t work for you, and why. Talk about the color, cut, how it fits, how it feels and let them know what you love and don’t love about it for the best Fix!

When I first saw the Picture Perfect stamp set at Stampin Up’s On Stage Local demonstrator event, I squealed. It is beautiful. I fell in love with the hummingbird stamp instantly. He colors were so vivid and bold.
Now around here things have been crazy busy and I haven’t had a chance to play with it until now.
Instead of stamping on paper, I knew I wanted to do something a little different. I had a small pack of mini Muslim bags left and they will do the trick.
I’ll show you the finished hand stamped hummingbird gift bag, then I’ll provide the specific directions, step by step photos and a supply list so that you can easily make this gorgeous gift bag.
Let me give you a few tips for prep work to make things go smoothly. In order to get very clear stamping on the muslin bag, you’ll need a hard surface to stamp on and a spongy surface as well. Contradictory, I know. You’ll want your foam Stampin’ mat on the bottom, then you’ll want to cut a piece of chipboard or cardboard backing to fit inside the bag (see it sticking out). I also used push pins to tack down the bag so it was taunt and did not move while I was stamping.
While you are setting up, grab a small baby washcloth or old tshirt scrap and dampen it. You will use it to carefully wipe any ink residue from the border of the stamps.
1. Set up and prep your space.
Stamps: Picture Perfect
Ink used: Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Garden Green
Make sure to wipe any excess ink from the stamp border or inside parts. Stamp firmly on the bag, making sure the birds are lined up and facing the same direction.
4. Die cut two heart with treat bag framelits, Watermelon and Gold.
5. Cut Mint Macaron twine to wrap around the bag 4 times and tie in a bow.
6. Attach the heard with Gold Cording. I poked the hole with the push pins used to hold down the bag.
How easy was that? Only 3 quick Hummingbird layers (okay, 4 if you count the chest) to create an amazing work of art that’s one of a kind!
I hope you enjoyed this little DIY craft project today! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below for me! I love hearing suggestions, that you are going to try it, or just that you stopped by to check it out.
Happy Crafting!! Xoxo
Late last week, I gave you a quick update that was starting the Whole 30 eating plan. Ya’ll know I struggle with seeing things through. I have a thousand unfinished projects. I don’t want to fail at this project. So in order to keep myself disciplined about it, I made printables to share!
You can use these babies to track your progress, stay on the wagon, and countdown to push through. I am excited to check off all 30 days and then start again.
Whole30 Update: I’m on day 8 and I feel great. I will publish my Daily Diary at the end of the 30 day round as well as a recipe box with photos and all of my meals. (I’ll link to it here once it is published).
In the meantime, enjoy these printables. I made two, so pick whichever suits your fancy & happy eating (or whatever you choose to do for 30 days).
To Download the PDF: Click the desired photo and it will download. Don’t right click and save, the quality will be poor :)
How stinkin’ cute are these little treat holders. I told you in yesterday’s post that you were going to love them! They are perfect for putting tea bags or chocolates. They use my favorite designer patterned paper from the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog along with the Cups and Kettle Framelits, which anyone who knows me knows that I love tea pots & cups. Like really, I love them.
Not only am I showing you the adorable photos, but I am giving you a photo and written step by step tutorial. You’re welcome!
Stampin’ Up supplies:
So, do you love them as much as I do? I don’t know if its the color combination or the fact that it has a tea kettle, but I love it.
I’m excited to announce my newest class, Crafternoon Tea. It will be held here in my Williamsburg, VA stampin studio. It will be a monthly class. You’ll have a full service tea party, mini cakes, and mini sandwiches complete with adorable craft projects all while chatting with friends. Cost: $20
Hello, Hello. I have an awesome surprise for you today. In addition to a sneak peek of the sweetest little friendship project ever that I am going to show you, I have made the best Weekly Social Media Statistics Tracking printable page for you to use in your business. Whether you are a blogger like me, craft show vendor, small creative business owner, or the like this printable is going to be super useful.
I like to keep up with statistics. In fact, I use the Secret Blogger Business #BlogYeah Planner to keep up with monthly goals, stats, and challenges for myself and my businesses/blogs (yep, I have more than one– and I highly recommend the #BlogYeah Planner). It has multiple pages for each month, an a really great monthly stat tracking worksheet. But alas, I am a compulsive stat checker, so I needed something a little more comprehensive. And when you can’t find one, you make your own. So I made a printable PDF for you- two ways- to track your important stats. You’re welcome!
So here’s what I came up with- a weekly stat tracker for your page views, visitors, Facebook Likes, Pinterest followers, Instagram followers, Twitter followers, You Tube subscribers, Mailing list. The chart goes from now, April 2016- March 2017, weekly quoting stats every Wednesday. At the end of the document I also included a blank template with a few extra social media blanks to fill in your choice as well as no dates so you can choose the schedule which you wish to track.
And one more bonus, I am adding in a yearly stat tracker for you to use! Here’s a peek at the trackers. They are beautiful, watercolored, hand lettered with pretty font and cute social media buttons! You’re going to love using them. The download link is available below in a PDF.
