Fall In Love With The Newborn King

Fall In Love With The Newborn King

By now you probably know that I am in LOVE with The NEWBORN KING stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2014 Holiday Catalog.  It embodies what Christmas is about, Christ.  It doesn’t talk about Santa, or presents, or the Tree, or lights, or even cookies and Christmas dinner. It shows love, peace, and joy.  It shows sacrifice, adoration, and hope.

This is SO much more than a stamp set. This card truly means the world to me.  It is an everyday reminder of how great God is and what an amazing life we have because of Christ.

So, for my personal Christmas cards, I knew I wanted to use this special stamp set to share the amazing story of Christ with others.  Alright, without further chatter, here it is:

3 Ways to Use For All Things Stamp Set

For All Things_cards

Coming up in the new 2014 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is a beautiful watercolored stamp set called ‘For All Things’. It captures the essence of Fall and Thanksgiving all in one stamp set.  The images include an oak leaf, grains, acorns and sentiments about being Grateful, which make for the perfect Thank You card.

I wanted to create three different levels of the same basic card to show off how easy it is to use this set (available August 28th).The first card has a Crushed Curry base, Blackberry Bliss layer and Color me Autumn DSP.  The Whisper White layer us stamped with leaves to create a background pattern.  The sentiment is layered on Blackberry Bliss and adhered with a dimensional.  The card size is 4″x4″.

Card number 2 is a Whisper White base with the stamping done on the Crushed Curry layer and Park Lane DSP inset along the bottom. A 1/4″ Blackberry Bliss card stock band separates the layers.  Gold sequins from the trim adorn the top and band.

Card number 3 has a Blackberry Bliss base with Crushed Curry and Whisper White layered on top.  The bottom half boasts Color Me Autumn DSP (in that delicious Blackberry pattern).  I stamped a Blackberry Bliss swoosh on the top middle and added the sentiment in Momento ink.  The acorns are stamped in Crushed Curry and Tangelo Twist.  The card is topped off with 1/8″ Gold ribbon which is metallic and amazing!

I hope these three cards will inspire you to create something beautiful and get ready for the Holiday Catlaog because it is amazing!

Make sure you comment below and let me know which of the three cards is your favorite!!
