September Paper Pumpkin: Extra Projects

As  a Paper Pumpkin customer myself, I am always looking for ways to get more bang out of my buck. I love that Paper Pumpkin is only $19 a month and includes new stamps, ink and paper in each kit, but I also like to spice things up.

The September 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit was a great fall kit.  It reminds me of candy apples, halloween, and  raffia wreaths. The kit comes with 8 bags, fringe, twine, raffia, tags, stamps & ink, and paper straws that look like birch wood.

I brainstormed things that reminded me of fall before starting the kit.  I came up with a list and here’s what I made:

  • Candy Corn treat bags
  • White dots on a craft bag
  • Rustic Doily treat with raffia
  • OWLS!

See the a finished gift box and Pink and Gold card. Ahhh, I can’t handle the cuteness.  The pink and gold make me think little girl birthday parties, or Paris, or Victoria’s Secret- but not all together, ha. Regardless, the cards are gorgeous and you will want to order a refill kit as soon as they are available!August Paper Pumpkin preview at StampinFool.com

Here’s the video for your viewing pleasure and be sure to share it with your Pumpkin friends!

A Sneak Peek Video for You from Paper Pumpkin

March Paper Pumpkin Card at StampinFool.comIt’s the end of March and your Paper Pumpkin kit should be here by now. I LOVE the contrast in these black and white printed cards.  I have a video reveal for you to see the contents of this month’s kit as well as an idea for how to use it.  Enjoy!  {You can learn more about Paper Pumpkin Here}

What did you think of the kit?  It’s pretty amazing right?  I love all of the stamps. It has tons!  I had a minute to put one card together and I’m here to share it with you!

I didn’t have time to sew the word “YOU” with the twine, so I grabbed my closest Sharpie and colored in the YOU and tied twine around the card.  It was quick and simple and turned out great!

Cute Treat Holder Tutorial & Last Day to Join Stampin’ Up! for ONLY $50

Today’s post is all about a cute little treat box made with the Tag Topper Punch and two new stamp sets, Work of Art and Something to Say.  For this project, you will need the Scallop Tag Topper Punch (133324), Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack of 3 (133787), and Work of Art & Something to Say.

  1. Stamp two pieces of Whisper White ( 1 7/8″ x 3 1/2″) card stock with the chevron from Work of Art, in Blackberry Bliss ink.  Stamp one with sentiment from Something to Say and add punched flowers (Hello Honey) with two way glue pen.
  2. The Strawberry Slush card stock is cut to 2″ x 11″ and scored at 4 1/2″ from each end.  Adhere stamped panels to the front and (what will be) the back of the treat holder.
  3. The sides are cut at 2″ x 3″ and scored on the 3″ side at 1/2″ and 2 1/2″. You will need two of these.
  4. Fold on all score lines.  Adhere the side pieces into the bottom of the punched tag to create the basket by attached the 1/2″ flaps to the front and back of the Scalloped Tag, pushing them all the way flush with the bottom.
  5. Tie together with Strawberry Slush Thick Bakers Twine.
