Favorite Things Roundup

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a chance to enjoy this time with the ones you love.  I know our family will be taking a much needed break from working and relax all weekend.

Black Friday is tomorrow, so I want to share a few of my favorite things so that you don’t miss out on any deals!  I like to shop Thanksgiving evening online (mainly Amazon because it ships straight to my door for free). Here are a few of my favorite things!

*Disclaimer: I love Amazon. So I use my love for blogging and Amazon together.  So when I share things, they go through my links.  I only share things that I truly love.  All of the things listed on this page I own personally.  I wouldn’t recommend things that I don’t trust.   *April Waltrip aka [StampinFool.com] is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.*

Happy Shopping!!

FOR YOU!

KitchenAid Stand Mixer:  This is the big boy && it is on super sale. Seriously, if you were even considering it, this is the best deal I have seen for the 5 Qt. It is less expensive than my 4.5 Qt. And I have it in Ice blue in case you were wondering!

I’m kind of obsessed with my Ice Blue Kitchenaid.  You can also see another fav, the salt and pepper and butter dish. They are listed below. img_4157

FOR THE FAMILY

Amazon Echo:  If you don’t have it you need it.  I am a total Amazon junkie (I love the Prime tv, but this is amazing).

Amazon Fire.  Two years ago we ditched cable. Crazy right? Well, we love it. We love that we can watch movies and shows on Amazon and Netflix, we have no cable bill, and we can stream PBS Newshour live every night on You Tube to our TV.   If you are considering ditching cable, do it.  Make sure you have a Prime account, otherwise you won’t have the thousands of free shows and movies and who wants to pay for movies if you don’t have to.  I will say that we love ordering the occasional New Release after the babe is in bed; one that is still in theaters.  We can watch it from home for under $20 and don’t have to get a sitter.

FOR THE COOK!

Against All Grain. I love this cookbook.  I seriously love it.  With my son’s wheat allergy and me moving towards a Paleo eating style, this book is perfect.  It has amazing dinner recipes for all sorts of allergy friendlys and the most amazing truffle recipe ever.  Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Pioneer Woman: Turquoise Jar Shakers and Butter Dish. SOLD. I ’em. I saw them hit the market via and email and knew I had to have them right away. The color is stunning and they are so cute.

FOR THE CRAFTER!

Project Life F– USE Tool. I love the Fuse tool for making Project Life pockets. I can enclose small bits and pieces like movie ticket stubs, my sons first lock of hair (weird, I know, at least I don’t keep teeth!), sequins, confetti, bits from my favorite birthday and Christmas cards,

I’m currently working on my December Project Life Album using the Hello December Stampin Up cards. Love the emerald and red colors together! ah. img_4164

FOR THE BOOKWORM/ BEST FRIEND!

For the Love. Are you a reader? Do you have a best girlfriend who needs a pick me up? This Jen Hatmaker book is for you. I read it the night it was released via kindle and immediately ordered a second copy on Amazon and shipped it to my best friend. It was perfect timing, and full of grace.

Modern Girl’s Guide to Life. I really enjoyed this book. It has great practical advice for young women coming into their own or starting their own household (married or not).

My Modern Girl’s Guide to Life book is stashed in my office right beside my Project Life cards. I guess I thought all things pink needed to be together. img_4162
