Kid Friendly Black & White Patio Makeover
THE PATIO
It’s officially Spring and with the weather warming up we will be spending more time outside. One family favorite is to have a picnic either for lunch or at snack time.
We have a great deck off of our breakfast nook and it needs a little love to fully enjoy it. I’ve been playing around with patio inspiration that I will be sharing all spring and summer long.
Realistically, a patio makeover probably won’t make the punch list with all of the other in progress projects going on around here. Nonetheless, I will be sharing more patio inspiration as I dream of a completed respite in our backyard.
BLACK AND WHITE
There’s something about a black and white color combination that feels so complete. It must be that the limited color palate feels calm and not disorganizer or overloaded. With that in mind, to start off the season, here’s a black and white wonderland for both big kids and little kids alike.
The design is started with a black and white striped rug to anchor the space. On top of that is a fun child sized picnic table. You don’t want to forget the melamine plates and silverware.
Add in a few poofs to relax on and that adorable elephant side table for an outdoor oasis. Don’t forget to bring a few plants onto the porch so that it feels like an exotic getaway.
