QUICK & EASY Wine Bottle Tag Tutorial
Going to a party or entertaining friends? Need the perfect gift? Grab a bottle of wine on and top it off with this adorable handmade Christmas Wine Tag. No bottle of wine is complete without it!
I’m going to walk you through the steps to make your own wine bottle tag for the perfect quick and easy hostess gift for your next party.
Wine Bottle Tag Supplies:
- Stamps: Holiday Invitation stamp set, Bright and Beautiful
- Paper: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Merry Moments DSP
- Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Gold Encore Ink
- Star Framelits, Big Shot
- 1/8″ Gold Ribbon
- 1 3/8” Circle Punch
- Dimensionals
HOW TO MAKE A WINE BOTTLE TAG
Directions:
- Cut green card stock to 2 1/2” x 8”.
- From the top, score and fold at 2 ¼”. This will be the portion that folds over the bottle neck.
- Cut your Christmas scrapbook paper (Merry Moments DSP) to 2 1/4” x 4 3/4”. Adhere the paper to the middle of green wine tag cardstock base.
- For an extra layer, add an additional layer of card stock cut to 2 3/8″ X 4 7/8″ in a contrasting color. This piece of cardstock will go onto the base and the scrapbook paper will be mounted on top of this layer.
- Punch 1 3/8” circle out of top portion of green card stock. Round top corners with Project Life Corner punch.
- Stamp Bold & Beautiful and Holiday Invitation stamps onto White scrap. Use Stars Framelits and Big Shot to cut out Sentiments. Flag the ends of the banner for detail.
- Adhere with dimensionals.
- Cut a pennant into bottom of ta by cutting a line 1″ up the center of the tag. Next, from one corner cut in to meet the center cut. Repeat on the other corner. You will have cut two smaller triangles out of the bottom of the tag leaving a perfectly centered pennant.
- Decorate with 1/8″ Gold ribbon loop and glue dots.
